It is situated on the left bank of the Vltava river, close to the historic centre of Prague.

The central part of Prague 5 is Smíchov.

Adjacent to this park are summer palaces and homesteads parks, Klamovka, Santoška, Cibulka and Kinský garden.

Prague 5 is very diverse – housing developments, villas, new housing complexes and a wide range of nature conservation areas.
